In Loving Memory

On September 9th, we said goodbye to our fabulous Kathryn.

She was a wonderful wife, mum and friend to many. She brought joy and kindness everywhere she went and always wanted to share God's love with everyone.

This page is a tribute to her memory, and the joy she brought to all the people whose lives have been enriched by having known her.

Kate we can’t believe you’ve gone. I wrote some memories in the card I sent but my two biggest memories are firstly of your wedding- it was one of the first weddings I had been too and I was so excited to see you get married. You looked so beautiful and I felt so proud to be invited to share in your day. I also remember coming to visit you so many times when you lived at the college. On reflection, I would maybe have found it irritating to have me just drop in so often! But you were always so welcoming, so happy to share your life. You and Gary were both a big influence on me in my teenage years and I’ve never forgotten that. Thank you. X

Kathryn, you taught me so much. Not just about our job but about myself as a person and the person I want to be. You fill a room with light and your beauty inside and out shone. Words cannot say how much you will be missed. I feel so privileged to know you and am so grateful for the time we spent working together.

My gorgeous friend. I am going to miss you more than words can say. The way you shared love, laughter and happiness everywhere you went. The lives you have touched and the way you always saw the best in everyone. I will always channel my inner Katheryn and I will try my best to follow your lead. You were always there for me and knew when i needed a shoulder and just what to say. Thank you for touching my life my friend and beautiful fellow street lady ❤️ xx
